We Love to Serve
We are deeply committed to bettering the quality of life for those around us, serving our community in practical ways. As a congregation, we support the local pantry with food donations, collect school supplies for children in need, raise funds for people facing hardship, and serve lunch to the homeless in Philadelphia. These efforts, along with many others, are how we show God’s love in action—letting people know they are cared for and valued. It's not just about meeting immediate needs, but reminding others that they are seen and loved by a community that believes in making a difference.
We Even Make Quilts!
Each Monday, women of all ages come together to share their time and talents by making quilts for infirmed children at CHOP as well as for adults with long-term health issues. What began as a simple act of love has grown into an incredible ministry—over 4,000 quilts have been made and delivered to bring warmth, comfort, and a tangible reminder of God’s care to those in need.
